Objectives: To educate students to conduct data-driven analyses, identify significant business problems, identify relevant data sources, generate and evaluate alternative courses of action, apply appropriate analytical tools and techniques, recommend feasible solutions to the problem, and justify a course of action. To formulate a business strategy that is grounded in theory and practice from multiple business disciplines. This helps students to conduct business analysis by integrating, synthesizing knowledge and perspectives from the core business disciplines. By doing this course, students will be able to develop and justify an effective business strategy based on the business analysis.
The MBA programme at the Department of Management imparts in-depth knowledge with an objective to create and equip prospective managers with leadership skills, lateral thinking and critical evaluation abilities, thus abetting successful entrepreneurs and corporate heads of tomorrow.
Apart from routine classroom teaching the students of Department of Management actively take part in presentations, group discussions, role play, conferences, seminars & workshops etc.
The Department has Training and Placement Cell headed by a Placement Officer ensures that all the students of management department are well placed.
The mission of the department is to provide every opportunity to each student to attain the best of their capabilities and create in them the desire to excel. The Department is striving to impart quality education keeping in view the global scenario and social obligation.

Students are given training in different areas like Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Environment, Principles and Practices of Management, Organization Behaviour, Accounting for Management, Quantitative Techniques, Managerial Economics, Business Communication, Information for technology and management, Business Environment, Production and Operation Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Research Methodology, Human Values and Professional Ethics, Applied Operation Research, Corporate Legal Environment etc..
In the second year, students are given the option to choose one of the four specializations in the fields of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Information Technology. Students also prepare research projects and undergo a Summer Training for two months to get practical knowledge.

Today, effective communication skills have become a predominant factor while recruiting employees. While interviewing candidates, most interviewers judge them on the basis of the way they communicate. They believe that skills can be improvised on the job; but ability to communicate well is important, as every employee becomes the representing face of the company. The Communication Skills Training provided to BBA & MBA Students strives to enhance and expand their interpersonal skills by offering them Communication Skills Enrichment workshops.
